Rare Etruscan Ring-Askos, Impasto ware, 630-610 BC

Rare ring-shaped askos with upright spout in the shape of a small oinochoe with trefoil mouth.

The band handle applied across the body.

For a related example from Caere, cf. Cp 3106 (C 555) in the Louvre Museum database.

H. 9 cm (3.5 in), D. 12.5 cm (4.9 in)

Rare shape, intact and fine. Crazes along the body fixed.
