Villanovan/Etruscan Impasto Ware Jar, 850-800 BC

Biconical vase with tapered neck and flared mouth. The vertical ribbon handle attached to the pronounced shoulder. Standing on a flat base.

Decorated with a meander band that skirts the root of the handle. Above hanging triangles framed by incised parallel lines.

Reconstituted from fragments, pitted areas in places, small portion of the mouth restored.
